What is Camp WeSC UK?

Camp WeSC UK is a 5-day skate camp for skater's aged 13 and above. The inspiration for the camp came from a project set up in Sweden over 5 years ago. The idea is to get skaters, from all the UK and further a field, together for a 5-day period. At the camp the kids will have the chance to skate for 5 days with some of the best European skateboarders around who will be there to look after and help the skaters progress. There will be a place for the kids to sleep and eat 3 meals a day, this will be within a safe and secure venue. We want the kids to come along and have a good time, being around like-minded people and we want them to leave having had a memorable experience that they will remember for years to come

Summer Camp 2013

2012 will see the Third year of Camp WeSC UK. We will have 2 weeks available in summer with 30 spaces available for each week, once you have signed up we will require a deposit within 10 days to secure your place.

Next stop Truro

After just finishing our Easter camp in Hull the next stop for Camp WeSC UK is Truro, Cornwall. We are heading back to the accommodation at Trennick School and will be skating the outdoor park in Truro and visiting the indoor park in Mount Hawke as well.

The accommodation is a short walk from the Skatepark and is perfectly situated with outstanding facilities providing everything we need for our time there. There will be 3 meals a day, with breakfast and dinner being taken at the School, and a packed lunch provided to be taken to the Skatepark. Please be sure to let us know of any special dietary requirements in the space provided when signing up.

UK WeSC Activists, Pros and more

You will get the chance to skate with some of the UK WeSC Activist as well as some of the UK's top European Pros and Ams.

Sponsors for the Camp

We will be again working with some new sponsors in 2013, as it is still a while away, these are as yet unconfirmed but we will bring news of this as and when we receive it. You can be sure of receiving a package of well over £200, and although we can't guarantee the exact product at this stage, in the past years has consisted of a board, a pair of shoes, T-shirt, hoody, headphones and many other prizes throughout the week.
